How to manually update Microsoft Store apps on Windows 11
As mentioned above, you should always make sure installed apps are updated to help keep your system protected and information secured.
To update apps installed from Microsoft Store, click on the Microsoft Store button on the Taskbar as highlighted below.
Alternatively, click Start and select Microsoft Store app from your pinned apps list.
If you don’t have the Microsoft Store pinned to your Start menu, select All apps to find it from the app list or search for it via the Start menu search bar.
From the Microsoft Store dashboard, click on Library from the bottom-left side. Then select Get updates to bulk install all app updates. This will update all apps that have update pending.
How to automatically update Microsoft Store apps on Windows 11
Another way to update Microsoft Store apps is to enable automatic update. Microsoft encourages setting up automatic updates which is enabled by default.
To set up automatic apps update, select your profile image at the top of the Microsoft Store to find App settings.
On the App settings window, toggle the button to enable automatic app updates as highlighted below.
Enabling this will make sure that all Microsoft Store apps will automatically update when updates are available.
