So when you install Windows 11 on unsupported hardware using workarounds, Windows 11 will display a watermark on the device that the ‘System requirements are not met.’
This message will appears as a watermark in the bottom-right corner of the screen and the Settings app, under the hero controls. If you don’t want these messages display on your device, the steps below show you how to remove them.
How to remove system requirements not met watermark in Windows 11
As mentioned above, Windows 11 will display a watermark on the device that do not meet Microsoft Windows 11 requirements with a message ‘System requirements are not met.’
Below is how to remove that watermark in Windows 11.
First, click the Start menu, then search for and open Windows registry. When Widows registry opens, navigate to the folder keys below:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\UnsupportedHardwareNotificationCache
Once there, right-click the SV2 DWORD key and select the Modify or double click to open.
Change the SV2 DWORD (32-bit) value from 1 to 0.
If you don’t see the ‘UnsupportedHardwareNotificationCache‘ key, right-click Control Panel folder, then create the ‘UnsupportedHardwareNotificationCache‘.
You’ll also need to create the SV2 DWORD (32-it) inside the ‘UnsupportedHardwareNotificationCache‘ key. Then change the value for SV2 DWORD value to 0.
Click OK and restart your computer.
