How to find your computer name on Windows 11
As mentioned above, there are many ways one can find out their computer name. Below we’ll show you two methods you can use to find out what you computer name is.
Method #1:
To get to System Settings, you can use the Windows key + i shortcut or click on Start ==> Settings as shown in the image below:
Alternatively, you can use the search box on the taskbar and search for Settings. Then select to open it.
Windows Settings pane should look similar to the image below. In Windows Settings, click System, and select About on the right pane of your screen shown in the image below.

On the About screen, you should see your Device name. The device name is your computer name.

You can also go to Advanced system settings pane, and get your computer name from there as well. Click on Advanced system settings as highlighted below.

On the next screen, on the Computer Name tab, there you should see your Full computer name.

Method #2
For those who love the command prompt terminal, they can simply open the command prompt windows, then run the commands below to find their computer name.
hostname
That should show your computer name as highlighted below.
