Widgets are feeds of content such as news, weather, stocks, and traffic that are automatically updated with live information on your widgets board. It is automatically added to the Taskbar after installing Windows 11.
The Phone Link app lets you instantly access your Android or iPhone apps from your PC. Then, using a Wi-Fi connection, browse, play, order, chat, and more — all while using your PC’s larger screen and keyboard.
When you add or pin the Phone Link app to the Widgets board, your notifications and other information on the phone will be displayed on the Widgets board. This gives you quick access to your phone without having to open it.
Here’s how to add or remove the Phone Link app to the Widgets board in Windows 11.
Pin or Unpin the Phone Link app to the Widgets board
As described above, you can have notifications and other information on your phone to display on the Widgets board in Windows 11.
Here’s how to do that.
First, open Widgets or press the keyboard shortcut Window key + W.
When the Widgets open, click the Add widgets (+) icon next to your user profile.
On the Add Widgets window, click the Phone Link to include it on the board.
Once the Phone Link is added, it should display on the board. You can also rearrange the board anytime by selecting each tile and dragging it.
Unpin or remove the Phone Link on the Widgets
After adding the Phone Link app to the Widgets board, you can select the More options button ( ... ) and choose Unpin widget to remove it.
Not only can you remove the widget, but you can also increase or decrease the widget size on the board.
